Marie Murphy School, 2921 Illinois Road, Wilmette, IL 60091

Intercultural Night is Avoca’s largest and most diverse community-building event where we celebrate our rich cultures and strengthen our bonds. This year's theme is All ONE Avoca 37. Expect an evening filled with various cultural performances, music, dance, food from around the globe, a World Market, and much more!

Registration is now closed. If you would like to attend but did not register, please email D37intercultural@gmail.com as soon as possible. Registration at the door is discouraged and not guaranteed.

Ticket payment must be made in advance to gain entry. The easiest and preferred method is through the Membership Toolkit via credit/debit card (no transaction fee). You can also submit cash or a check (payable to "Avoca PTC") in an envelope with your full name, your child’s full name, and "Avoca PTC Intercultural Dinner.” Submit the envelope to the school front office or your child’s teacher.

At this time, we have reached the maximum capacity for Talent Show acts. Thank you to those who signed up.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete this Signup Genius.

If you registered to contribute food, please make sure you have submitted the Food Contributor Form, listing all ingredients and allergens. We cannot accept dishes without this information.

We are working towards a zero-waste event, so please bring your own water bottles. You will be able to refill at our water station.

Event Security: In the past and this year, there were inquiries if it was appropriate to have support from local law enforcement at such a large event, the largest we have at our schools during the year. The District and the Wilmette Police Department have a long successful partnership in keeping our schools safe, and Dr. Osburn has consulted with Chief Murphy. As a result, we will have a Wilmette Police Officer present at the entrance to Marie Murphy for the duration of the event and available at a moment's notice. No threats have been made against the school and there are no security alerts that make this necessary, but our partnership makes it possible to have this additional layer of security on such an important evening for our community.

For all general questions, please email D37intercultural@gmail.com.
